Sheet Metal Pretreatment Process & Power Coating/Painting

Seven-Tank Hot process is used for metal treatment which provides the best pretreatment for anti rusting and phosphatisation of the steel surface followed by Power Coating/Liquuid enameled painting which is basked in Gas Fired Oven.

Operational Sequence of Sheet Metal Pretreatment Tanks:

  • Degreasing
  • Water rising 1
  • Derusting 1
  • Water rising 2
  • Zinc Phosphating
  • Water Rinsing 3
  • Final Finessing / passivation.

    To Complete Metal Treatment Process, are placed in a blower oven at a temperature of at least - 100 °c for a period of 10 minutes.

    The painting of enclosures in carried out in Booth having dust free atmosphere. Painting is carried out immediately after the metal Treatment with Powder spray gun having electrically charged particles. parts to be painted are hung on a conveyour system., thus ensuring that such parts are not touched by hand untill the process is complete.

    The above process of treatment are proven, effective and provide excellent base for power coating.
